From humble beginnings in Taiwan, Jess Yen has grown to be an internationally known master of the new school of oriental art. His art brings a new realism to the culture and stories of Asian traditions. Under his touch, the creatures of Japanese and Chinese mythology flow with life, alive with detail, shadow and light.

Jess Yen’s specialties include Oriental body suits and realistic portraits in both color and black and gray. Yen, who has a bachelor’s degree in fine art, was originally trained in the ancient art of tebori (tattooing by hand) and still practices the art today.
